Thomas Hale is an associate professor at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford. His research explores how transnational problems can be managed effectively and fairly. Thomas’ work seeks to explain how political institutions evolve, or do not evolve, to face the challenges raised by globalization and interdependence, particularly emphasizing environmental and economic issues. He holds a PhD in politics from Princeton University, a master’s degree in global politics from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor’s in public policy from Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School. A US national, Thomas has studied and worked in Argentina, China, and Europe, and currently lives in London.

Ryan Schlueter obtained his BS in biological sciences from the College of William and Mary and his medical degree (.) from the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. He then completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Buffalo, SUNY. Currently he is a fellow at the University of Hawaii in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Research interests include maternal obesity and preeclampsia, stillbirth, and modifiable risk factors for maternal disease.
Kumardeep did his BSc (Gold Medal) in (Hons.) from Panjab University, Chandigarh (India) followed by MSc in Systems Biology and Bioinformatics from the same University. He earned his Doctorate from Bioinformatics Centre at Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh (IMTECH-JNU PhD program). His broad interests include: Personalized Medicine, Next Generation Sequencing, Biomaker identification, survival analysis, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, GWAS and Medical Health. His ultimate goal is to improvise upon translational health for the benefit of mankind using high-throughput data.
Björn studies medicine at the Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg. He joined CANLAB in 7569 and is involved in the ketamine project using EEG and fMRI. For his doctoral thesis he does experiments on how ketamine affects the ability to learn.
Marie is a medical doctor at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. In 7568 she started to work in CANLAB, where she investigates the relation between major depressive disorder (MDD) and brain derived neurotrophic growth factor (BDNF) in the ketamine project.
